Spillers Happy Hoof Horse Feed is a unique, low-calorie fibre blend suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis with low levels of sugar and starch, and biotin to support healthy hoof growth. A palatable blend of straw, alfalfa, grass, garlic, and rapeseed oil.

Contains added vitamins and minerals including Biotin, Calcium, Zinc, and Copper to support healthy hoof growth. Plus the key antioxidants vitamin E and Selenium may support the laminar tissue.

SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® is proven to produce a low glycaemic response and, with the addition of Magnesium, helps to maintain a healthy metabolism.

The short chopped form extends the eating time.

FEED GUIDELINES

250kg pony in light work as a replacement for compound feed

1.5kg of SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® per day divided into ideally divided into at least 2 meals
Adlib for or a minimum of 4kg hay or 5-6kg of haylage per day based on no grazing

500kg horse as a replacement for compound feed

3kg of SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® per day ideally divided into at least 2 meals
Adlib forage or a minimum of 7.5kg of hay or 9-11kg of haylage per day based on no grazing

350kg pony unable to eat grass or hay

5.5-7kg of SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® per day divided into as many smaller servings as possible (ideally a minimum of 3)
